I have been teaching exercise for over 20 years. I think of exercise as "preventive medicine". I trained with Lotte Berk, now deceased, in London. She used to say, "Use it or loose it".
Lotte was a modern ballet dancer and hence some of the core exercises have a balletic tendency.
Each class includes stretches, awareness of posture, toning work especially for the legs, tummies and bums! The core stability work of Pilates is excellent and I try to include many of these disciplines into my classes , however I work a little faster. I encourage anyone who has already learnt Pilates to apply what they have learnt into my classes as well.
I try to work around problem joints or injuries so that people have alternative exercises they can do whilst they heal.
Classes are small and based in London and Reigate, Surrey.
